Falco 5-Phase Motors
Falco has designed a revolutionary, gearless, patent-pending, proprietary motor, which uses five phases instead of the conventional three phases.
Normally, as the power of the motor increases, the pedaling resistance also increases. Falco has overcome this by minimizing the force of the magnets inside the motor, to near zero, making it extremely easy to pedal. Therefore, even with more power of a 1000W or 1500W Falco motor, the resistance to pedaling is zero. This superb feature has to be experienced first-hand, to fully understand how zero resistance pedaling actually feels.
Each 5-phase Falco motor features a unique field-weakening region inside the motor, which is non-existent in 3-phase motors. Due to this exclusive field-weakening region, every Falco motor efficiently delivers high power for a wide range of speed.
The controller embedded inside the Falco motor is small, yet is capable of handling a large amount of power, without fail or overload. It can handle motors up to 1500W in power and up to 50A of phase current.
