First 50 miles

OK, first the cons. The claim that you can install it yourself in 30 minutes is fantasy, it took my LBS 2 mechanics for 2.5 hours to get the wheel installed on my Catrike. This was after I had installed all the other bits. The console is clunky, dimly lit, and not intutive at all. All that said, the system does just what I wanted it to do. Riding completely with pedal assist on level one, my speed has increased about 30% while my effort level is probably down about 25%. That gets me back to the performance level of a few years ago (I'll turn 80 later this year.) I decided to get pedal assist so I could keep riding, and I decided to get a Falco because it seemed to be the best option available. I'm now confident that both those decisions were right. Excellent Product Support

I am a charter Falco owner. Excellent product support. Any issues were taken care of a in a timely manner. No issues for the last couple of years. My wife is in excellent shape I"m 67 and she's 8 years younger.. Last summer we had one trip at 63 miles (2nd battery) and when we get back she roller blades another 10 miles. I couldn't keep up to her without my Falco. We biked the Colorado mountains, Parts of the Idaho Coeur d'alene 72 mile paved trail. Hiawatha bike trail Montana 1.7 mile tunnel and railroad tressels. Mickelson Trail in SD Black Hills. Gitchi Gami trail Lake Superior. Many others. No more hated strenuous hills and get to see lots of beautiful back country. We've seen bear, Bull Moose, Bull Elk. We did some long mountain climbs and no wires melting like I've read about other units. Know I'm 225lbs. So happy I made the purchase. Tom Zensen

Thanks again!

I’m excited about the new system. On the 2+ mile climb I just did at about a 7% grade average I was able to stay at about 7.5 mph to the top. Much better than before and much better than I could do without the assist. Dr. Bruce Shannahoff
